Farmington Bay WMA J - Dike Restoration

Equinox Engineering partnered with The State of Utah Department of Natural Resources -  Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area to provide design and construction management services for this project.  Equinox also provided permitting services which required a full wetland delineation report.  This project partially rebuilt a historic levee footprint that was destroyed in the 1983 floods and then extended a new levee across a new alignment to create a closed impoundment that will be used to capture fresh water and create critical flyway habitat for water fowl wintering and nesting.
