Schick Lane Storm Water Wetlands

Equinox Engineering partnered with Kaysville City and The Nature Conservancy of Utah to design and oversee construction of this wetland restoration/creation project.  Main components of the project include design of a trash/sediment  collection structure, water delivery system and three wetland cells.  Design goals include primary, secondary and tertiary treatment of storm water to clean and filter before it enters the Great Salt Lake.   Wetland cell are designed  to allow for independent control of water for maximum management to promote habitat for migratory birds and local flora and fauna.
