MATHESON PRESERVE WETLANDS

Equinox Engineering provided design services and construction management oversight for this 895-acre wetland preserve enhancement project. Key features of the project include a water delivery system that provides levees, flow connection channels with full round and half round stoplog water control structures to allow independent control between existing seasonal cells and newly created wetland habitat.  Additional upgrades include the installation of  overflow spillways to protect the preserve against seasonal flooding of the Colorado River.
