Mill Creek Channel Improvements

Equinox Engineering  & Environmental provided design and permitting services for this project which required hydraulic engineering to bring this project into compliance with Salt Lake County Flood Control Engineering.  Equinox provided an environmentally friendly design that incorporates cross vane weirs to redirect flow away from banks to reduce erosional shear stresses and keyed bank stabilization to allow preservation of previous installed urban landscaping.  Equinox also provided turn-key permitting integration which included County Flood Control and State Stream Alteration permit preparation and submission.
