Trout Creek Home Onwners Association Scour Countermeasures - Active Project

Equinox Engineering partnered with Trout Creek Homeowners Association (TCHOA) and Swaner Nature Preserve to provide permitting, design services and construction oversight for this project.  TCHOA property is supported by a wooden retaining wall that does not extend down to scour depth and is succeptable to undermining and/or erosion from flow in  the adjacent water channels.  Equinox provided a design to protect the base of the wall and the homes supported by the wall with a design that incorporates hidden subterranean scour protection to avoid unsightly features above ground and to preserve the natural features of Swaner Nature Preserve.
